A well known Christian ministry has just released a new antigay book, HOT TOPICS, blasting gays as child molesters and other vile accusations. I have written the following letter (below) in response to the authors.

Brethren, I call the Lord as witness and to judge between you and I in the forthcoming matter, and that His Spirit be between us, for truth and the execution of His righteousness, to the glory of our Father who raised our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead, who is seated at the right hand of the Father in glory with a name that is above every name, who makes intercession for us as the High Priest, making the Jew and the Gentile of one holy body in Him, of them which believe on His name.
My brothers, I have long stood up in your defense against those who speak against you for your defense of the Scriptures and your contending for the faith against falsehoods, myself suffering hatred for your sakes (yet not for your sakes but for the name and cause of Christ Jesus). I have supported your ministries through the purchase and use of your materials, using them to help guide the Lost to the loving glory and salvation of our God, as Moses declared, “Go, proclaim liberty unto all the land, unto all the inhabitants thereof.” I have encouraged other believers to use your materials, ensuring them of the Election of your calling by the power of the Spirit of Grace, that they should trust you as those who do the labor of the ministry. While putting no man on a pedestal and having no respect of persons, yet giving honor to whom honor is due, I have staked my reputation on you. And in these things I ask, with God Himself as our witness, that you also give to me the courtesy of your attention in a most serious matter, and that you patiently continue to the end, as though I were there with you now speaking these words in person. If it is becoming of the sons of God, as it is also commanded by the holy Scriptures, to give ear to one another in attention, then I here ask it of you, to hear me out to the full.
Brethren, I am truly at my wits end and rather beside myself with what can only be perceived as an assault on those with whom you have no religious quarrel (that is, you quarrel with them, not over religious doctrine, but over the issues of “touch not”, “taste not”, “handle not”, as the Apostle Paul so aptly termed it), to wit, namely, homosexuals. I write to you in regard to your new book HOT TOPICS, which neither edifies the church, nor the Gospel, nor mankind in anyway, but rather stirs passions and strifes and incitements. You, I must say by the spirit of discernment and understanding, are completely out of line by seeking to bring the wrath of the Gentiles against the church!
I am what you would most assuredly would deem (if you knew me) a fundamental, conservative, King James Only, born again Christian minister who has loved and served the Lord many years of my life, just like you. And I am also homosexual, in a covenant committed relationship with my partner, and (as a believer with the authority to read and interpret the Word of God by guidance of the Spirit of God who dwells in every one that names the name of Christ Jesus), I believe that the KING JAMES BIBLE totally supports this, that there is NOT ONE place in all of Scripture which condemns it (and if you’d like to see my hard Scriptural proof you are welcome to visit my website at http://www.GayChristianSurvivors.com; as of yet no honest brother or sister in the Lord has been able to refute my Scriptural stand on this matter). BUT, if it so be that you would be contentious with me on this issue, brethren, and refuse to hear me now that I have dared to reveal to you this truth regarding myself, then I also am bound to compel you by the Word of the Almighty and bring to remembrance before the court of the Almighty - (as it was said by our Lord in the Scriptures, “Whose soever sins ye retain they are retained”) - how many abominations you yourselves have committed against Him in your liberality in Christ while yet claiming to be free of sin and holy in Christ; for the eating of any meat not fully drained of blood, for the eating of any undercooked meats, for the eating of any creature of the sea that has not both fins and scales (i.e. crab, lobster, shrimp, catfish, mussels, clams, etc); for the eating of the flesh of swine, as pork chops, bacon, sausage, ham, etc; for the wearing of any mixed materials upon your body. And any other abomination listed in the Law that you do – for if you would put me under bondage to the Law based on your personal interpretation of homosexuality, I too then hold you accountable to it – yet not I, but Moses, who received the Law from the Lord and said “Cursed is every man that obeyeth not every word of this Law.”
But I tell you, brethren, that I am not under the curse, for I am not under the Law, but rather I died with Christ, setting me free from my bondage to the Law – as were you, though you have forgotten it, choosing instead to fall back to that old bondage, believing that salvation can be earned by the working of deeds. For, do you not profess that the homosexual must do the works of abandoning his sexual identity to be acceptable to God? As though a man is saved merely for being heterosexual! By this you have excluded salvation by grace through faith, and have reinstituted the error of salvation by works. Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God, as it was written of our father Abraham, “For he believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” No man – heterosexual or homosexual – can see the kingdom of God without Christ; for God has concluded ALL under sin, both the heterosexual and the homosexual. But now in the glorious Faith of His son, the middle wall of partition is taken away, and there is no male or female in Christ. It is by the lusts of your flesh that you assign any significance to types of genitals, as the Jews in their lusts were obsessed with the circumcised condition of a man.
I am opposed to fornication and adultery, and I never dreamed of pedophilia - as your scandalous book accuses me of being. I am among homosexuals on a daily basis my entire life, and NONE of them have EVER expressed the slightest interest in children, and in fact we cheer on the capture and punishment of child molesters. And we are in the majority among homosexuals; any homosexuals that are also pedophiles are LONERS - just as it is among heterosexuals.
Should we condemn all heterosexuals as sick perverts because of the constant molestation of little girls, and the rape of a woman every four minutes, and the birth of MILLIONS of illegitimate children, and the abortion of BILLIONS of babies, and the more than 50% divorce rate, and the RAMPANT adultery and fornication and pornography? Is a holy war what you are looking for? because I can tell you as a first hand witness who hears the rage of the gay community from within, that the church’s gross hypocrisy on this matter is going to back lash in a very ugly way, and if the church does not cease this satanic assault on homosexuals, we believers in Christ will end up being subjected to that which the church seeks to do to them. As it is written, “The name of the Lord is blasphemed among the heathen THROUGH YOU.”
You may oppose homosexual sex (merely because everyone has the right to their own opinion), but you do not have the right to SLANDER homosexuals. And in fact you are denied that right in Scripture. Jesus never told us to go out and harangue against particular people's sins, but to go out and preach the Gospel - which is, that we are ALL equal sinners condemned to eternity apart from God, but that faith ALONE in His son Jesus Christ and His death and resurrection is salvation from damnation. THAT'S ALL. Jesus warned about those who would judge another in false piety, "For they shall kill you, thinking they do God service." What you are doing is EXACTLY what racists do – condemn an entire race for the errors of some. But I tell you, God has made OF ONE BLOOD all nations of men for to dwell upon the earth. Black or white, gay or straight. For there is NEITHER male nor female IN CHRIST JESUS.
I, and all of the homosexuals that I know, live everyday lives (save for the unending terror brought upon us by the Christian church which ever seeks to institute a theocracy and Inquisition in violation of our National and Biblical laws). There ARE pedophiles among heterosexuals and among homosexuals, among men and among women, among whites and among blacks. It is a HUMAN disease, not a homosexual disease, and the homosexual community is horrified at the news of a child being molested – we even say so amongst our selves. And it was not a few times that I’ve heard a gay man speak with great emotion of desiring harm and death for those who harm children. My Aunt, Lydia, who is a great soldier of Christ and well beloved in the church, recently told me that she read, in a Daytona Beach newspaper, the claims of a convicted pedophile that if parents do not watch out for their children “we will get them”. Obviously this is a very disturbed individual, and if you don’t think that gays are appalled by such a man, you are horrifically mistaken and deaf to truth. It seems to me that, on this matter, the church is seeking a scapegoat and attempting to cause great division. They are, in essence telling the gay community that, because they will not submit to the church’s judgment on homosexuality, that therefore the church will make their lives a living hell, trumping up charges of the worse imaginable crime one could charge another human being in the country, incurring the wrath of the public.
And what is hate speech? Hate speech is the mocking, belittling, and moral degrading of someone because you disagree with them with the intent of causing others to do the same to the victim. Hate speech is an act of incitement, which touches the emotional rage of the public, knowing it will cause physical damage to the victims of your speech. It is one thing to say an historical fact, such as, that Rome teaches the worship of Mary in violation of Scripture, or that certain wicked men invented false versions of the Bible, or that the celebration of Easter is a pagan tradition. It is another kettle of fish to say that all Blacks are thugs just because there are many Blacks in jail, or that people who are attracted to the same gender seek to rape little children! You are inciting violence and hatred, and that is not only libel, but is unbecoming a preacher of the Gospel of our Savior, because "hate is as murder". For the next step after hate in a witch hunt is murder. And indeed, contrary to you protests otherwise, you do HATE homosexuals with a fleshly hatred - for no one persecutes and seeks to bring the world against those they love. Your hatred of homosexuality is based on your own sin of sensuality, because homosexuality doesn’t serve a function in the fulfilling of your own heterosexual lusts.
Your grave error is that you do not give out Christ’s hand of mercy or kindness or demonstration of love with your bombastic damnations; rather you stand at your self righteous podium and scream out hell fire and damnations and cursings and judgments. THAT IS NOT THE ACT OF CHILDREN OF GOD, and as Paul withstood Peter to his face for his gave error, so I withstand you to yours. You are stirring up great strife, and "if ye have...strife in your hearts, glory not and lie not against the Truth; this 'wisdom' descendeth not from Above, but is earthly, sensual, and devilish, for where...strife is, there is confusion and every evil work - but the wisdom that is from ABOVE is first PURE, then PEACEABLE, GENTLE, and EASY TO BE ENTREATED, full of MERCY and GOOD FRUITS, WITHOUT PARTIALITY, and WITHOUT HYPOCRISY; and the FRUIT of righteousness is sown in PEACE of them that MAKE peace!" And "mark them that cause strife" in the church.
Those who refuse to hear sound doctrine are none of His. No matter WHAT sin you believe homosexuals guilty of, it cannot compare to the wickedness you do in bringing shame upon the Gospel and the church by your uncoiled fangs of poisoned wrath against a group of people, among whom, not only do many of them not even know and serve our God (to your own guilt and shame), but whom you wish to also place the yoke of Moses’ Law upon!
A son is born to the lusts of his flesh, knowing only the law of his flesh, ever pushing at the borders of his father’s laws. But when he fails at observing the laws of his father’s house his father does not cast him out but reproves him, that his son may learn obedience and control over the laws of his flesh that he was born with. And the father of an household is not responsible for sons that are not of his household and cannot bind his laws upon them. Those that dwell outside of the household of God know only the law of the flesh. But you, who are sons of the household of God, seek to lay the laws of your father on those who are outside of your father’s household, laws which are not lawful to them to observe (until they have been adopted into the household of your father), for the Father’s laws are contrary to the laws of the flesh; and you chastise with rage those who are outside for not observing laws your father has laid on you to uphold. This ought not to be. For, why would the children of flesh desire to leave the laws of the flesh, which are a pleasure to them, to dwell in your household which you’ve presented as a household of misery, with a harsh father who cares nothing for them other than what they might do in bed? They suffer this already at the hands of their natural fathers, so why would they make themselves subject to the Father that you malign by your words against them? You offer no joy, no alternative (except that they should abandon pleasurable laws to be bound by unpleasurable laws). Because you have put yourself again under bondage to the law, you seek to enforce that same law on them. And the Lord is grieved by this false accusation against Him by you to them.
Your unceasing war against gays is not the holy act of men of God, but the act of zealousness without knowledge, in being a person who defies the Scriptures which say, THE WRATH OF MAN WORKETH NOT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD. Religious protesters against homosexuals shout with a bullhorn false crimes against homosexuals so that, when the mobs have turned their torches and pitchforks to the attention of the gays, the religious hypocrites can go about their wickedness with the spot light now directed away from them – for, minister after minister, and Republican upon Republican scream out hatred and wrath against gay people, and then are found to be guilty of the greatest abominations themselves, hauled away to courts and prisons before TV cameras and the WHOLE WORLD, bringing shame on the Gospel and making a mockery of the church, and setting those honest missionaries who are out in the harvest fields in mortal danger. What the Scriptures said to the Pharisees is rightly said to you as well, “Take out the beam from thine own eye - thou that judgest - before thou seek to remove the thorn from the eye of another.” Clean the pig sty of your own house, O heterosexual, before you seek to clean with a bulldozer the speck of dust on the floor of the house of the homosexuals.
And none are of the Body who continue to refuse to be subject to the Body, as it is written, "Be ye subject one to another". Because of your fame, both among the righteous and unrighteous, you’ve set yourself up as a somebody, being unanswerable to the church while speaking in its name. If you have right to speak for Christ, then I as much so, also being an anointed minister of the Gospel with authority of Scripture to both praise and to admonish, to welcome and to excommunicate – and I am subject unto ALL believers who abide by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who are not carried away in their passions like a vigilante in a witch hunt. But go and learn what this means, "I will have mercy and not judgment" and "love thy neighbor AS THYSELF".
I beseech you, brethren, to bring back the joy and praise that I had in you before this fiasco, and to do those things that are to the edification of salvation, by repenting of this evil; for it is the GOSPEL that leadeth to salvation, not the damnation of individuals. For you do not realize that there are a great many members of the faith of Jesus Christ around the world who are homosexual and are greatly wounded and betrayed by your fleshly wrath. And the warning of Christ is clear to those who wound His little children, doing precisely what you accuse them of doing to children. For you molest the children of God. For with what judgment you mete out, it shall be meted back to you. But in repentance you shall save many.

Your unceasing war against gays is not the holy act of men of God, but the act of zealousness without knowledge, in being a person who defies the Scriptures which say, THE WRATH OF MAN WORKETH NOT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD. Religious protesters against homosexuals shout with a bullhorn false crimes against homosexuals so that, when the mobs have turned their torches and pitchforks to the attention of the gays, the religious hypocrites can go about their wickedness with the spot light now directed away from them – for, minister after minister, and Republican upon Republican scream out hatred and wrath against gay people, and then are found to be guilty of the greatest abominations themselves, hauled away to courts and prisons before TV cameras and the WHOLE WORLD, bringing shame on the Gospel and making a mockery of the church, and setting those honest missionaries who are out in the harvest fields in mortal danger. What the Scriptures said to the Pharisees is rightly said to you as well, “Take out the beam from thine own eye - thou that judgest - before thou seek to remove the thorn from the eye of another.” Clean the pig sty of your own house, O heterosexual, before you seek to clean with a bulldozer the speck of dust on the floor of the house of the homosexuals.
And none are of the Body who continue to refuse to be subject to the Body, as it is written, "Be ye subject one to another". Because of your fame, both among the righteous and unrighteous, you’ve set yourself up as a somebody, being unanswerable to the church while speaking in its name. If you have right to speak for Christ, then I as much so, also being an anointed minister of the Gospel with authority of Scripture to both praise and to admonish, to welcome and to excommunicate – and I am subject unto ALL believers who abide by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who are not carried away in their passions like a vigilante in a witch hunt. But go and learn what this means, "I will have mercy and not judgment" and "love thy neighbor AS THYSELF".
I beseech you, brethren, to bring back the joy and praise that I had in you before this fiasco, and to do those things that are to the edification of salvation, by repenting of this evil; for it is the GOSPEL that leadeth to salvation, not the damnation of individuals. For you do not realize that there are a great many members of the faith of Jesus Christ around the world who are homosexual and are greatly wounded and betrayed by your fleshly wrath. And the warning of Christ is clear to those who wound His little children, doing precisely what you accuse them of doing to children. For you molest the children of God. For with what judgment you mete out, it shall be meted back to you. But in repentance you shall save many.
