"It strikes me as odd that the free exercise of religious faith is sometimes treated as a problem..." Mitt Romney said at Liberty University.
The free exercise of religious faith is in the observance of your faith in YOUR OWN LIFE and the sharing of your religious views with others. It is NOT in dictating personal religious opinions by force of law down and shoving it down the throats of others who disagree! No Christian who is opposed to gay marriage is obliged to marry the same gender, but how do you DARE to presume to dictate your opinion on others who are your EQUAL?
I am an Evangelical, Conservative, King-James-Bible-Only, Christian Minister, and head of King James Bible Ministries International (and the outreach Gay Christian Survivors dot com), and I OPPOSE antigay doctrines being promoted by false 'Christians'. I do not believe that the Bible is anti-gay and I am 100% pro Gay Marriage, and my view is just as equal and valid to that of any other Christian. And it is a VIOLATION OF SCRIPTURE for any Christian to force any doctrines of our Faith on those who do not accept them - a punishable offense according to both the Old and New Testaments. It is the commanded duty of all Christians to live peaceably with all men, not cause division and chaos throughout the nation - and I say SHAME on every "Christian" who has spit upon the Scriptures this way!
Furthermore, whether my fellow Christians want to acknowledge it or not, the United States is NOT a theocracy. We are NOT the Holy Land. We are NOT the Promised Land. The United States is a Constitutional Republic of FREE CITIZENS with the UNALIENABLE RIGHT to live the lives that best suits them. And I think it is high time that every politician that continues to treasonously defy the stipulations of the Declaration of Independence should be punished with immediate ejection from office.
