So I read about the account of David and Jonathan; quite obviously proving them a couple which gave me tremendous peace that I've waited for for years However it has come to my attention that if there is no such thing as 'bisexuality' aside from a confused lust outside of our 'natural affection' then how did David lust after Bathsheba? I have no question the wives were probably just for social status as gifts and for childbearing but David lusted after Bathsheba after he was clearly in love with Jonathan before killed in battle. This just confused me. Thank you for the website as it has been a major blessing to me:D -Rev. Cunningham, I hope to hear from you exclusively on this since I trust you over anyone else right now reguarding this topic. Other than God of course:) I offer you my prayers as well:)

I'd like for you to think about something, and perhaps this will clear it up for you. Consider first that we are in agreement about the legitimacy of the relationship between David and Jonathan. Now, compare the relationship between David & Jonathan to the relationship between David & Bathsheba. There is one word that differenciates the two. You mentioned that word yourself. In fact, you used the word twice in describing David's relationship with Bathsheba. It is the same word that Paul uses in Romans 1:27 that caused heterosexual men to leave their wives for other men. What is that word?

Good point! Lust changes everything! I also wondered what Saul's goal was in marrying Michal to David. It was a setup, I understand, but how? Also, it says Michal loved David. (No indication I saw where he felt the same.) (Thank you so much for your answer

Jim, You must be joking, but only a fool would twist what is pure and make it perverse to suit his own lifestyle. When looking at the Spirit of God, and true friendship, we see David and Jonathan as loving one another. Do you really believe that his sin would not have been made known as God revealed his relationship with Bathsheba? They did not have a homosexual relationship, but you would love to see it as so, simply to have your own heart of lust justified. Two men can love each other as friends without sex between them. Don't justify sin, the wages of sin is death, that never changes. Bridget gaychristiansurvivors.tripod.com/id11.html -A BIBLICAL GAY MARRIAGE: Did The Church Just Miss This One - Or Did They Intentionally Ignore It? Bridget, we do not welcome harrassment, name-calling or hate preaching at GayChristianSurvivors.com, and we certainly do not acknowledge those who do such wickedness to be Christians. I don't care about your OPINION about David & Jonathan's relationship. If I were to follow your way of thinking about David & Jonathan, I would have to reinterpret Romeo & Juliet to be just a story about loving friends. I have given multiple BIBLICAL proofs of their married relationship; so unless you can BIBLICALLY REFUTE my BIBLICAL EVIDENCE, your comments can be viewed as nothing but the words of a bully. Your satanic, Nazi doctrines will not be tolerated and therefore you have been banned from our forum. If you wish to live in bondage to the law and to interpret that law to your twisted hatred, then go spread your hatred somewhere else.

Amen Rev.Cunningham! And please pray for me as I've begun to show the boy I love and the church I attend, little by little, the biblical truth about homosexuality.
