Is homosexuality a sin? And who do we believe? God is the ultimate and sovereign judge for sin. Homosexuality is sin by His order; it is not decided by public opinion or deceived/false clergy. Changing societies do not dictate God's standards. Sin is defined by God for us in the Bible. It is the source for what God says is holy and righteous or sin and abomination. Hebrews 13:8 states that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever; he does not “go with the flow.” God's Word says that homosexuality is unnatural, a perversion, an abomination, fornication, vile affections, and a great sin against Him. He states any sexual act outside of marriage is adultery (hetro or homosexual sexual). Sex is to be between man and woman within marriage. Is homosexuality a sin? What does this mean? God's design for natural sexual relationships is part of His plan. Homosexuality falsifies what God designed. Sin often means not only rejecting God but denying or rejecting how and why we are made. Though it may be considered acceptable by some today -- even in some churches -- it is not acceptable to God. And we need to take that seriously. Sexual sins were rampant in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. (This is the origin of the word sodomy.) Despite warnings, they refused to repent. God destroyed those cities and it was recorded as a warning to all future generations (Genesis 18:20-21, Genesis 19:4-5, 2 Peter 2:6). Some additional scriptures on homosexuality are found in: Leviticus 18:22 Leviticus 20:13 Romans 1:26-27 The price paid for homosexuality and other fornications are told in: 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Jude 6-7 Romans 1:18

To ChristianPentecostal. This forum is for those who have read this website, which you have not. You've merely come here to spread your devil drivel. We do not accept your religious terrorism and corruption of the Holy Scriptures to suit your Nazi doctrine. The word "Sodomy" is a modern invention and does not refer either to the city of Sodom or to homosexuals - which you would have learned if you actually read the site. Leviticus 18 & 20, and Romans 1, condemn heterosexual men who fornicate with other men, it does not condemn homosexuals - which you would have learned if you actually read the site. Jude 6-7 says nothing about homosexuals - which you would have learned if you actually read the site. The story of Sodom was a story of gang rape, not homosexuality -which you would have learned if you actually read the site. However, Jesus spoke positively about homosexuals THREE TIMES in the New Testament - which you would have learned if you actually read the site. I used to be an arrogant Pentecostalist like yourself, but then I found Jesus and was set free from that self righteous cult. Now I save the souls that you and your kind try to destroy. You are a Pharisee who has no love for anyone and is only concerned about ramming your personal bigoted view down innocent people's throats. It was to people like you that Jesus said:
"Not every one that saith unto Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter into the kingdom of heaven - but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and in Thy name have cast out devils, and in Thy name done many wonderful works?' And then will I profess unto them, 'I NEVER KNEW YOU! Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity!"
It is people like you which bring shame on the Church and disgrace upon the Word, barring the way to heaven. I do not acknowledge a person like you to be a Christian, but a servant of Satan - the accuser of the brethren. Go serve your god of hate who condemns and damns, and I we will continue to serve the Living God who loves and saves.

AMEN REV!
Is christianpentecostal completely living in a bubble? Like we've never heard of the clobber scriptures? And how anyone still thinks Gen 19 and Jude 6 is about gay people tells me they've never really spent 5 minutes genuinely reading scripture to glean its meaning. Shall we expect a laundry list now of scriptures that seem to support forced slavery as well?
"It is people like you which bring shame on the Church and disgrace upon the Word, barring the way to heaven. I do not acknowledge a person like you to be a Christian, but a servant of Satan - the accuser of the brethren. Go serve your god of hate who condemns and damns, and I we will continue to serve the Living God who loves and saves."
Couldn't have said it better other than, perhaps, Jesus himself:
"But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in." Matt 23:13
