From: CRWarrior_Kyle Sent: 2/27/2005 7:52 AM Here's a question I have. I understand that when a hetrosexual man has sexual relations with a gay men then it is error [sin] because both go against their own natures. Just as when a gay man has sex with a woman it is counted as error [sin] because he goes against his true nature as a gay man. Now, a man be he hetrosexual or gay is a male nevertheless. So if he tries to act like or be a female is this error [sin]? I would think it would be because he was created as a male and not as a female. What to do you think?

From: Manager Rev. Jim Sent: 3/17/2005 2:17 PM Hi Kyle, You asked: "Now, a man be he hetrosexual or gay is a male nevertheless. So if he tries to act like or be a female is this error [sin]?" That is a very touchy subject because you know as well as I do that no matter my answer someone is going to be offended. HOWEVER. All I can do is tell you what the Bible says, and if anyone gets offended by it, they'll have to take it up with the Father of heaven. The Scriptures instruct us in different places about how males and females are to conduct themselves as children of God. One of those instructions specifically state that males and females are strictly prohibited from wearing the garments of the opposite sex. In another place, Paul clearly states that men being effeminate (feminine) is not acceptable before the Father. God knew us before we were born. Before He created us, we were in His imagination, just as any creation is in the mind of a creator before it is created. At that time God tells us in Psalms and Provebs that, before we were born, God not only knew of us, but He also "knew our members" - he knew whether you would have a penis or vagina. He knew whether you would be male or female. It's not some random act of genetics. Your sex is God's perfect will for you. And when God made you a male, He WANTED a male. Or if He made you female, He WANTED a female. It is vital that we embrace our genders. They are a gift from our holy Father in heaven. That is not to say that there are not a vast number of causes for effeminacy in males and masculinity in females. Indeed there are! And each of those issue needs to be confronted, dealt with, comforted and healed. And the Father is VERY patient when it comes to that. But He is NOT tolerant of WILLFULNESS. He is NOT tolerant of DEFIANCE. God never said that you must suddenly change and act like there are no problems or that you haven't been hurt. He sees and He knows and He cares what happened to us and, most importantly, He knows why we are the way we are and why we do the things we do, which is why He can be so merciful when the church is so hateful. Yet, when God speaks, we must obey. As Christians we do not say, "This is who and how I am, God. Take me or leave me!" Oh, no no no! As Christians we say, "This is who and how I am, God. How do YOU want me to be? Do with me as You will. Let THY will be done!" Let God be the potter. We are clay and the clay has no power to tell the potter what to make of it. If you cannot conform to God's standards on your own, that's ok. You are human. It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to conform to the ways of God. Only the Holy Spirit can make that change. So our request to the Father is that He send the Holy Spirit into our lives, root out all unrighteousness from us, and set us free to do His will - and to be and behave as edifies our Father. With love in Jesus the only Savior of the world, Rev. Jim
