I guess if there was a chat room of gays who loved the Lord, maybe one could find a friend. But what's available are gay chat rooms based on lust!

From: Manager Rev. Jim Sent: 5/5/2007 11:50 AM Hi Moon, Yes, it is possible to "put together" homosexuality and Christianity. Being gay/lesbian and Christian is no different from being straight and Christian. Heterosexuals and homosexuals endure the same temptations. The only difference between a heterosexual and homosexual is the gender of the person they love. Of course we are suppose to love the Lord first. And when we love the Lord we will live life according to His Word As for chat gay Christian chat rooms, I'm sure they are out there. I myself have been trying to figue out a way to add a chatroom to our site (it used to have that option but I can't find it anymore). But just bear in mind that our ability to even say that we are gay without being arrested and hauled off to jail or the psycho ward has only been a luxury of the past few decades, and the ability to come out legitimately as a gay christian is relatively new! We've cetainly come a very long way in a short time - and in fact homosexuals have had more success at being accepted in society over the past 30 years than blacks have had in the past 300 years - but we've still go an awefully long way to go. There are many gay Christians out there, and it will take more time for many of them to even come to terms with their gay Christian identity, let alone paticipate in a gay Christian community. The internet as we know it today, which has been the main instrument of connecting gays around the world, has only been around for about 15 years or so, and there are literally tens of millions of people in America alone who d not have a computer. So lets give it some more time. And, hey, have you ever considered starting a gay Christian chat room yourself? In Jesus, Rev. Jim
