From: Tiggs51499 Sent: 12/24/2007 2:40 PM Rev. Jim, Thought I would say that you have some really great information on this site for ex-ex gays who are Christians. I think it is great that you have this information out there for us unless you think that there organizations now that are meeting this need. It is vital that we have a place where we can come to as well to discuss and heal. Just my input is all though I have only posted once here and haven't had the time here recently to do much of anything. If there is anything I can do let me know. Tiggs

From: leshuntman Sent: 12/24/2007 9:00 PM Rev. Jim, I know I am fairly new to this site, but please don't end this site. I have heard from several people here that the site has been a really big help to them. I know myself personally, it is a big help right now especially during the holidays and I keep hearing from my so called family that I am going to hell for being gay and that I am not wanted around here. It is great to be able to come here and feel that I belong somewhere. Please reconsider and keep the site going if at all possible. Thanks George

From: Moonlight_Angel_17 Sent: 12/24/2007 9:26 PM Rev. Jim,
One of the things i am so THANKFUL for this year is KNOWLEDGE, cause KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. At the beginning of 2007, I was so lost and empty. I was tired of running around in circles in different areas of my life; love, my life's purpose, what college to go to, housing, finances, etc. I compared myself to others alot and where I THOUGHT I SHOULD BE, and not where GOD NEEDS ME TO BE, but when I found your website, it renewed me Jim. I felt so ENLIGHTENED, that i begin reading the bible more, and studying and finding out more about myself. Its thanks to GAY CHRISTIAN OUTREACH, with all its info, that lifted me out of the "why's" of life and my depression, and back on the right track with GOD. This year i am so close with GOD, and my eyes are so opened, and I am so sure about my life, i want to cry.
This group has helped thousands of people who are gay, struggling with the everyday woe's of life, identity crisis, abuse, depression, everything we face not only as individuals, but as children of GOD. Through this group, the once lost not only have renewed their faith in GOD, but in themselves as well. Leave the site, please don't end it, so many people still need the group, we still need gay Christian support! MUCH LOVE!
- Lee

From: CRWarrior_Kyle Sent: 12/25/2007 2:15 PM I think this is a ministry that is badly needed and which need to continue. Rather than end the website perhaps someone else should take it over if you feel that you can no longer do it Rev. Jim. There is some great and powerful ministry here and it is much needed. I have not been very active lately because my time has been limited but, hopefully, with the coming new year I'll be able to spend more time with GCS group. Rev. Jim I just want to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and THANK YOU for all the work you've done by building this site and this ministry. I asked that you not end it but if you feel you must then please give it to someone else to administer. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you Rev. Jim and all the members on this site and may the coming New Year be much better for all of us. This is a place full of the Holy Spirit and of that there is no doubt. This site is a blessing so we need to continue to let the Light Shine herein. +Rev. Kyle

From: Socko691 Sent: 12/30/2007 10:57 AM Rev. Jim, I don't know what is going on in your spiritual growth or in your life and I won't propose to know......however I do know this.....God puts us where we are to be if only for a season. I have been with survival group now for almost two years and have been blessed every time I come and visit the site. I admittedly do not visit or donate to the site the way that I would like to but I do know, that God thru yourself and the many other christian brothers and sisters have been an inspiration not only to myself but to several others I have referred to this wonderful site. How do I feel about you thinking about closing down the site: I completely and totally believe that it would do the GLBT community a disservice for you to shut down the group site; and I would hope that if you feel that you have outgrown the site or that God is leading you in another direction, that you would PLEASE seek His face and see if there is suppoused to be another person to take your place as leader of this group; or maybe someone to step in for a while while you take a needed vacation or leave of absence for a period of time. PLEASE DO NOT SHUT DOWN THIS SITE.........we as a community need this site not only as a source of information but as a site to share our opinions, views and insights. Sincerely, Socko691 John K. Moore

From: mart Sent: 12/30/2007 12:49 PM hey there rev jim, this is exactly what the devil wants you to do ? dont let him win? ALMIGHTY GOD JEHOVAH OUR LORD is so much more powerful than he will ever be... you have helped me to find exceptance within myself about my sexuality... its not all about sex and immorality, i myself still long for a god fearing confident gay christian man to share lifes ups and downs with. but i feel he isnt in bournemouth.... remember jim those who endure till the end will be saved, always think about what would happen if you let all these people down by letting satan win? its all about what god wants you to do with this website, not your own thinking and reasoning, maybe you should pray about it? i would if i was you..... NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL PROSPER,FOR HE THAT DWELLS WITHIN ME IS STRONGER THAN HE IS IN THE WORLD. god bless and start asking the lord what you should do?

From: Kimmiddlebrooks Sent: 1/1/2008 12:57 PM I am new to the group. I consider it a very valuable service. It would be a shame to end this website considering all the positive I gave gained from just being here 15 minutes!

From: Socko691 Sent: 1/6/2008 3:26 PM Jim, Let me be one of the first to say...... "Thank You and God Bless You." and let me also say that if there is anything I can do to assist you with the group I would be more than willing and able to do so. My prayers for you is that God will continue to pour out His spirit of wisdon and revelation upon you as you continue to seek His face and His will for this most powerful group of believers; and that you continue to grow spiritually "IN" Him as He reveals Himself to you. In His Love and Service, Socko691 John K. Moore

From: siddrick2 Sent: 1/7/2008 2:11 PM Rev. Jim are you still considering closing this sight??? I saw your message and sure hope not.I'm sure I speak for a great deal of others ,this sight has given all of us greater strength.I'm sure there are many who didn't know where to turn, being gay and yet loving the Lord, and being so confused because of others who taught us that our life style was a sin against God and that we couldn't love and serve the Lord and be gay too...This sight has helped me a lot more than I can put in to words,it's helped be to be found when I felt so lost....and the letters I have received from you and others...I know that the Lord put you here with this message to reach out to so many hurting souls, don't let Satan steal your strength, nor your joy.... From: ManagerMasterGracey Sent: 12/31/2007 10:38 PM HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Brothers and Sisters of Gay Christian Survivors, It has been a sincere blessing and privilege to have you in my life. And you brought me to tears with your gracious and tender loving words, asking me not to end this website. Your love toward me is felt in every part of my body, my soul and my spirit, and I am honored to live these last days of the world with you, looking forward together with hope for the glorious return of our Lord and Master Jesus, King of Heaven and Earth. When I first created Gay Christian Survivors, I was in doubt as to whether it would reach anyone. And now, nearly five years later with nearly a thousand members, I sit in awe. If I were to stand in front of you all, to see the sight of you all gathered together, I would scarcely be able to speak for the joy that fills me. And while I treasure each and every single one of you, there are two groups of people here to whom I want to extend a special nod of appreciation. Firstly, to my straight brothers and sisters here who have cared enough to join us. You are a light of peace and true Christian kinship among us. Together we are like Mary, of the House of Judah, and her Cousin Elizabeth, of the House of Levi - being of seperate Houses, yet both blessing one another and giving birth to that which is Holy in order to make One Holy House of God. And secondly, to my dear lesbian sisters here. As I have mentioned before, it is historical that gays and lebians have maintained an ugly wall of separation between us, except when we have been pushed together to stand in unity against oppression - a wall inspired and birthed by Hell. I want you to know that you are precious gemstones among us, of too great a value to ever part with. God took the Woman from the Man, and we men of faith - whether straight or gay - will never be whole without you in our lives. I've decided, by your unanimous urgings, not to discontinue Gay Christian Survivors. May God ever prosper us in this new year with His grace and wisdom, opening our hearts and eyes to Him. Your loving brother, Jim
