Keep strong Dave. The Lord is with you. Even during the times we feel so far away from him.I encourage you to seek happiness in life. The things that make you feel clean and grateful. God hears you

Hey Dave, I feel for you buddy, I use to be LDS and use to live in Utah. I carry no bad feelings toward the church since the good they do out weight the bad. Utah has its share of what I call "Cultured Mormons" and they will make you or break you. After 10 years of it I moved to Denver where I was more familiar with the area. I don't know what holds you there but be open to finding a place where you feel more comfortable. Talk to me buddy and we can get through this. Don't get caught up in the judgments of others then it ends up we just judge them right back. There are many great places you can be and experience joy and happiness. If I can help in any way just give me a buzz. May I suggest you take in good things into your body and go for a walk or run to clear your head. I hope to hear from you soon and you are not alone out there. I know many gay LDS men out there trying to live both lives and struggle much. Having left the church I got out of being a religious man and became a spiritual man and what a difference that is. Hope this helps and please write soon. Dennis
